VoiceCard focuses on transcription, AI cleanup, card generation, saving, and sharing.
What we process
When you record or import media, the app creates a local audio file. Only after you agree to AI processing, recorded audio or extracted video audio, speech-recognition language, and an anonymous device identifier are sent to the VoiceCard server for quota control and processing.
Third-party AI services
The VoiceCard server forwards temporary audio to Alibaba Cloud DashScope Paraformer for speech-to-text transcription, and forwards transcribed text to DeepSeek for title, content, and tag organization. These third-party services are used only to complete the AI processing requested by you.
Video import
The global build does not upload the whole video by default. It extracts audio on-device first, then uploads the audio for transcription only after you agree.
Photo permissions
Photo access is requested only when you import a selected video or save generated cards. VoiceCard does not scan your photo library.
Retention
The server is a processing relay for transcription and cleanup. Temporary audio is cleaned after processing. Records, transcribed text, and cards stay on-device by default.
