Plant SOS Privacy Policy

Plant SOS helps users analyze plant photos and generate home gardening care suggestions. This policy explains what data is processed and how it is used.

Data We Process

Photos selected or captured by the user for AI diagnosis.
Basic diagnosis context entered by the user, such as plant name, light, watering frequency, placement, and recent actions.
Diagnosis results generated by the AI service.
Purchase and subscription status after in-app purchases are enabled.

Local Data

Plant records, diagnosis history, and follow-up records are saved locally on the device in the first version.

Data Sent to the Diagnosis Service

When the user starts a diagnosis, Plant SOS sends the selected plant photos and diagnosis context to the AI diagnosis service. The first version does not upload plant records or personal profile data for account sync.

Photos

Photos are used to generate plant care suggestions. Users choose which photos to provide.

Sharing

Users may share diagnosis reports through the system share sheet. Shared content may include report text, plant name, summary, and an app or web link.
